Sonic World Adventure's website just released new screenshots for Sonic Unleashed, and a good section of them are Sonic in his Warehog form. It also looks like I missed 4 screenshots from the Leipzig Games Convention for Sonic Unleashed that was included in SEGA's US Media FTP site that wasn't included in SEGA's Press Vault.

Rumors that once circulated about Fang the Sniper aka Nack the Weasel joining the Sonic Unleashed Team are laid to rest by ArchangelUK in the latest Sonic City Blog update. It seems the wearied old weasel is only recognized in the eyes of the few within the SEGA of Europe community, as ArchangelUK's manager replies with a simple "Who's he?".

TSS reports that "Chip," a fluffy purple flying creature that resembles a dragon, will be your guide through the tutorial of Sonic Unleashed and may pose some importance to the story's plot. It's either that or Sonic Team's way of making it harder for you to torture your guide through out the levels like you did with Omochao. I miss abusing that little yaro.

New screenshots are available straight from the Leipzig Games Convention, along with a special artwork for Sonic Unleashed/Sonic World Adventure at a whopping 5120 by 2880 screen resolution. Yes this is the actual original size of the artwork.

Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood Screenshots

It looks like Sonic Channel will be dropping the 800 by 600 wallpaper size to give way for those who use the larger screen resolution sizes. In its place we will see wallpapers available in 1280 by 800 screen resolution size. According to Moro, one of the staff members of Sonic Channel, the previous screen resolution sizes were based off of the top three screen resolutions at the time. Now that monitors are becoming wider, Sonic Channel has adjusted their wallpaper sizes to accommodate the latest top three screen resolutions. Rest assured that past wallpapers will not be affected by the change.

A lot has happened since the last update to the main page, like the announcement of the new game "Sonic and the Black Knight." Those who are wonder about the third option in the poll should have guessed by now that Sonic and the Peeping Tom was a joke, and actually was hinting at the new title. A new poll will be posted shortly, but for now all the updates deal with our media sections. Titles such as SEGA Superstars Tennis and Sonic Riders 2 have their media sections completed. Checking the music section will reveal the addition of Sonic Gems Collection, Sonic Rivals 2, and the music for Sonic Riders 2. Future titles like Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood and Sonic Unleashed/Sonic World Adventure have had their swf files ripped. If you're wondering why there are so little ripped images from Sonic Chronicles, it's because the majority of the 2273 images were frame by frame animations of the characters. Speaking of Sonic Chronicles, I should at least give a list of known characters. Since SEGA was so gracious to leave the names of all the silhouetted characters here is the list. There is only one missing, so I'm guessing SEGA doesn't want us to know anything about that character just yet.
