Poll Results
Site Update: 01/02/09

Silver the Hedgehog 68.52% (766)
Mephiles the Dark 22.18% (248)
Princess Elise 4.38% (49)
Solaris 2.5% (28)
Iblis 1.61% (18)
Duke of Soleanna .81% (9)

Hands down, Silver the Hedgehog proves to be the best of the newcomers from the selected lot. For those who are wondering why Blaze wasn't added to the poll; it's because she was first introduced in Sonic Rush not SONIC the Hedgehog. As expected the Duke of Soleanna placed last. Perhaps swapping the duke out for the maids would have giving us a different set of results. The new poll is all about the doctor. Place yourself in SEGA's shoes and select the name that best fits the man.
  1. Jaret Reddick - Endless Possibility
  2. Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra - Spagonia Day
  3. Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra - Adabat Day
  4. Crush 40 - Live & Learn
  5. Ali Tabatabaee & Matty Lewis - HIS WORLD ~THEME OF SONIC THE HEDGEHOG~
Sonic Unleashed tracks are everywhere on the billboard for the month of December. Jaret Reddick's Endless Possibility dominates the competition for the number one spot, with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra taking both second and third place for their performance in Spagonia Day and Adabat Day. Leave a message in the comment section of the poll or email me if you guys want this year's billboard charts to be archived or if you want to be able to view polls from the past.

A few minor updates before the New Year, the image holds no real significance. It's just something that was made up on a whim so don't think too hard about it.

Planetary Pieces and Japan's Release Date
News Update: 12/04/08

planetary pieces

SEGA of Japan has finally revealed that the release date for Sonic World Adventure for both the Xbox 360 and PS3 will be on February 19th, 2008; a ridiculously long delay for a game that isn't going to see any quality improvement. For your reference, a previous post on the game's website:

"The difference in the international release dates is based on the sales strategy and the manufacturing schedule. There will be no quality difference between the North American/European/Asia release and the Japanese version. Please be assured we are doing our best to deliver a top quality experience to people all over the globe."

On the bright side, the game's sound track, Planetary Pieces, will be released before the game hits Japan, on January 28th, 2009. Planetary Pieces will have a total of 91 tracks on three CDs, featuring the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and Jarett Riddick, member of the pop punk rock group Bowling for Soup. Over 100 musicians participated in the making of this album; and genres include world, rock, jazz, symphonic, and techno. Asking Price? ¥4,200 or $45.30.

Sonic World Adventure Site

Goodies Added
Site Update: 12/03/08

sonic:notw

A boat load of new stuff have been added to the site, along with a better quality Sonic: Night of the Werehog clip. Both sound and video are clearer, with a little sacrifice to the file size that SEGA set for the video on their site.

Gonna Fly Now
Site Maintenance: 12/03/08

My hands were a little tied after my last post, with converting a high resolution version of Sonic: Night of the Werehog (a little over a gigabyte) to a more manageable size. While the site is undergoing maintenance, enjoy this video of a "traffic cop" playing Samba de Amigo to the Theme from Rocky.

Poll Results
Site Update: 12/01/08

Sonic - Hyper Sonic 54.72% (675)
Shadow - Super Shadow 23.41% (289)
Amy - Piko Piko Hammer 6.91% (86)
Knuckles - Hyper Knuckles 5.77% (71)
Dr. Ivo Robotnik - Pure Romanticism 4.72% (58)
Tails - Super Tails 4.47% (55)

The results of the latest poll reveal that the Sonic in Hyper formation would crush the competition hands down. Sadly, though with every great victory there is a terrible defeat. Tails came in last place, right after the Doctor's pure romanticism. Better luck next time!
  1. Crush 40 - Live & Learn
  2. Ali Tabatabaee & Matty Lewis - HIS WORLD ~THEME OF SONIC THE HEDGEHOG~
  3. Japanese Geroinic Band & Symphony - His World (Instrumental)
  4. Steve Conte & Runblebee - SEVEN RINGS IN HAND
  5. Maeda, Mitsuyoshi, Sawada, Ioszaki - Sonic 3 MegaD Mix
A classic title tops the charts on Sonic Billboard. "Live & Learn" cleared the winning circle for first place, with an astounding 16 vote lead. Followed by a small array of "His World" titles, from, the current console generation, SONIC the Hedgehog for second and third place. Remember there are no ties for Sonic Billboard, so tracks that do tie in votes are placed in alphabetical order. The polls will reopen later tonight after I add Sonic Chronicles and Sonic Unleashed to the list.
