Tails' Sky Patrol Sound Test/Level Select
At the title screen, hold up on the controll stick and the A button, and then press start.

Snowboard Select
Just before entering the snowboarding event in Icecap, press the X button to access Sonic's yellow board.

Unlocking the Emerald Course
You must first beat the four other chao courses to unlock it. If you delete your chao data you will have to race the four courses all over again.

Unlockable Characters

Amy Rose	Talk to her in the Casino as Sonic after finishing Sky Chase.
Big the Cat	Defeat Chaos 6 as Sonic.
E-102 Gamma	Defeat Gamma after finishing Sky Deck as Sonic or Tails. Another way is to finish Twinkle Park as Amy and watch the FMAs after it.
Knuckles the Echidna	Defeat Knuckles after finishing Ice cap as Sonic or Tails.
Miles "Tails" Prower	Finish the C mission of Emerald Coast action stage as Sonic.
Super Sonic	Finish the game as all the characters: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Big and E-102 Gamma.

NiGHTS Cameo
While playing as Sonic in the Casinopolis zone, go to the pinball game with the NiGHTS motif on it. Hit the three little purple point givers in order to open up an entrance at the top of the board. Now enter the secret door, once inside you'll be on another NiGHTS motif pinball game. Now let Sonic fall and you will be transported to NiGHTS world in the Splash Garden level. Here you can see NiGHTS and other characters from the NiGHTS video game.

Aztec Forest Shortcut
After you ride the mine cart, as Tails, to the Aztec Forest you should be standing up high on a platform overlooking the forest. Now stand near the ledge and look down to the left. You will see two trees sticking out of the canopy that are close together. Fly towards those trees and land next to the one that is closest to the ledge you jumped off of. You should be standing on top of the canopy. Now walk around that tree until you fall through the canopy. Once done you should end up right next to both the emerald and froggy.

A Clone of Knuckles
You must first unlock Super Sonic to do this trick. In Adventure mode play as Super Sonic and go to the crashed island. Here you will see Knuckles and Dr. Robotnik lying on the ground. Once the clip finishes playing press hold down the A, B, X, and Y buttons and press the start button. Now choose Knuckles as your character and go right back to the same place. You will now get to watch Knuckles play two roles at once. You can do this with other characters if you like.

Knuckles' 1 minute Emerald shards
Let's face it; it's pretty tough to gather all three shard under one minute. That is if you know how to play the levels right. Here's a little tip when playing any of the minuteman trails as Knuckles. Ignore the fact that you have only a minute to find the shards. Just go and locate where each of the shards are but do not get them. Once you found where all of the shards are located restart the level from the pause menu. Now the shards that you found earlier will still be in their same places. If you are having trouble remembering all the shards locations at once, just memorize where one shard is at a time. Once you get that shard look for the other and restart the level. When you restart the level you will be at the same spot where you got the last shard, with the same amount of time it took you to locate it.

Free Rings
When you are playing as Tails go to any place with weeds growing and wack'em with your tails. If you're lucky, a ring or extra life will appear. If you are playing as Knuckles make sure you have the shovel claws, now go to a place where you can dig in the dirt, if you dig in the right spots you can uncover up to 20 rings.

Secret Eggs
There are three secret eggs located in Mobius the silver, gold, and black eggs. To get the silver egg, go to the waterfall at Mystic Ruins in Adventure mode and push a gray platform. Once you push it inward you will see a clip of a silver egg falling down the waterfall into the pool of water below. Once that is done grab the egg and head over the chao garden located on the island which is located in the cave by Tails' workshop. The gold egg is located in Station Square at the antique store across from the Burger Shop. To get it you must first pick up the egg shape rock located in the grass, where you fought Chaos 0 and bring it into the antique store and pull and Indiana Jones move, by switching the rock with the gold egg. Once that is done, bring the golden egg to the chao garden located in the hotel. The last secret egg to find is the black egg. To get it you have to play as either Amy or Gamma in adventure mode. Now head to the Egg Carrier and go to the prison area of the ship and in jail cell that Amy was in you will see the black egg, open up the cell and take the egg to chao garden located on the ship. That are is located inside the door where you must enter EGGMAN as the password. In that room is a transporter which takes you to the garden.

Duplicating the Black Chao Egg
On the Egg Carrier, in adventure mode as E-102, when you let Amy out, you will notice that the cell next to Amy's has an orange-spotted black egg in it. Jump on the button in front of the cell to open it then take the egg and exit from the prison area into the Hedgehog Hammer room and level the egg into the middle of the platform, where there is a round grate. Once the egg falls through the floor go back into the prison area and now you will see two black eggs in the cell. Note: you can only duplicate the egg once, so take one egg and hatch it in the chao garden, then go back and clone it again.

Multiple Special Chao on a VMU
Find a Chao you wish to copy and bring it to a Chao Garden and put the Chao into your memory card. After the game saves, turn off your Dreamcast and then turn it back on. Go to the Chao Garden and take the Chao you copied out. Now head back to the place where you got the Chao and repeat this as much as you want.

Sonic and Tails Play
When playing any of Sonic's action stages with Tails on the screen plug in an extra controller and now you will be able to play as Tails. Just don't break open any containers since they won't help Sonic at all.

Get Tails in Emerald Coast
Take Tails over to the pool area in the back of the hotel and head towards the far right when you are facing the gate to Emerald Coast. This area should have table, chairs and an umbrella under the lower roof of the hotel, making stand out like a sore thumb. Once you are there stand as close as you can to the chair (one on the left) that is near another table. Now jump up and fly, but do not press the control stick. You should fly right though the lower roof of the hotel. Now land on the table's umbrella and slowly head towards the gate on your left. If you head to far into the wall you will die, but not lose a life, go figure. Now once you walked past behind all the table and lawn chairs, you will come to the last table and behind that is a little patch of grass in a brick decoration. Once there fly straight through the wall as far as you can, and the screen will load you into Emerald Coast. Unfortunately, you cannot complete the level entirely since there is another loading screen for the level, which will take you back to Station Square.

Play as Super Sonic
You must beat the game as all six characters. Once you do that Super Sonic will be available for selection in adventure mode.

Twinkle Circuit pass
To play Twinkle Circuit as Big, Tails, Knuckles, or Gamma you must first find the pass for each character. This pass is located to the left side of the building leading to Speedy Highway zone in the grass. Once you grab the spinning card bring it to the Twinkle Circuit door and it will now let you enter. After the sub game is over you can enter Twinkle Circuit any time you want to without the pass.

Sonic in Sand Hill in Adventure Field
Get on top of the ledge and push the button to drain the sand out. Now back up a short distance from the deeper cavern in the cave and prepare to light dash into the cavern. Remember to let go when Sonic says “Ready!” and then jump before you go over the little bump on the ground. If you did it right Sonic will end up in the Sand Hill sub game.

Cream the Rabbit Cameo
Once you beat the Casinopolis action stage with any character, after the cut scene you should see Cream flying past you.

Special Chao Evolutions
There are four possible special chao evolutions that can get you chaos that look like Sonic, NiGHTS, Alien, or a Dragon. To get a Sonic chao you must feed it only green system animals. To get a NiGHTS type chao you must feed it only purple system animals. To get the alien type chao you must feed it only yellow system animals. Finally to get the dragon type chao you must feed it only red system animals. To get a Super Sonic chao you must hatch a chao from a golden egg and give it all the green system animals, until it looks like a golden Sonic after that raise all the stats to 999.
