So I’m getting things together for the podcast that will be recorded this weekend and I come across a few of SEGA’s old European released albums. Brings a tear to the eye when you remember the days when all SEGA had to do is slap an image of Sonic on the cover and it would sell itself. This is probably the only era that you would find popular artists of the time; like the Backstreet Boys, Tag Team, and Tony Toni Toné all on the same album with Sonic. More images after the break.

It looks like the site is coming along quite nicely. I’ve primarily been updating the music section because it is used the most on the site. However, I saw Roxxas’ post and completed the wallpaper section. So not only is this section completely in the new layout format, but I’ve also added new wallpapers to the site. The sections that had new wallpaper added to them include:
Sonic and the Black Knight
Sonic Channel Calendars
Sonic Chronicles
Links that previously didn’t work in this section are now fixed as well.

During the redesigning phase, I wanted to make the mp3 player a little more user friendly. So I built the new player from the ground up, borrowing only the images of the buttons from the previous player. Here you are able to fast-forward or rewind using the buttons or drag the play-head to a new position. Probably one of the most useful features for this new player is the quick play button located next to each track. You can check out the new player in the remix section of the site.

If you’ve been on Phantasy Star Universe (PSU) toady, you would have seen Sonic and Tails trying to run away from a massive crowd; or to put it kindly, players guiding one of the characters, depending on which party you join, to each lobby or to different sites of Gurhal. But the fun didn’t stop there; players were also able to play missions with Sonic and Tails that were ranked from C-S2. Those who wished Sonic a “Happy Birthday” were awarded with two special items, a NiGHTS statue and a “Happy Birthday” statue. If you were one of the lucky people, like pekingduck, to catch a glimpse of them post a link in the comment section for the rest of us.

Do you remember that April 1st post a while back? Sure you do, it was on the main page for the longest time. Well I’m bringing back the podcast which will be recorded at the end of the month. Love it or hate it, it’s here to stay. A personal goal of mine will be to create at least 6 podcasts for the year. So if you guys have any inputs for the show, post them in the comment section.

Man it’s been a while since I’ve made a post. Well a new layout has been developed for the site. Before you all start panicking that none of the links are working check the bottom of the page in the footer. You will be able to use the footer as a short-cut to a specific location on the site, while the top navigation bar will be used to navigate to an umbrella category. The site is in a transition phase and I hope you will pardon the renovations. You are now able to leave comments, so go for it.
