Cheap Sonic Videos

While doing some research for the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog page on the site, I came across some cheap preorders for the near future. The first one is called, Sonic Underground: Sonic Christmas Blast. Awkwardly titled, this DVD includes the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog Christmas Special along with three Sonic Underground episodes. You can expect Sonic Underground: Sonic Christmas Blast to be released September 29, 2009 for $6.99.
Then there’s the Sonic X: The Egg Moon, Emerl & Homebound Sagas two disk DVD that covers episodes 39-52, which releases September 22, 2009 for $10.99.
Last but not least is the Sonic Underground: Dr. Robotnik’s Revenge/Sonic Underground: The Queen Aleena Chronicles DVD, selling at $9.99. Sonic Underground: RR/AC will be available for August 31, 2009.

The Sonic Christmas Blast and Sonic Underground videos have been out for a long time already. I probably got Sonic Christmas Blast a couple of years ago and I often see the Sonic Underground DVD you mention at Toys ‘R” Us and other stores that sell bargain DVDs.
Don’t you mean DVD’s? I didn’t know they still make Videos. Christmas Blast comes out 8 days after my b’day!!!!
Uh actually I have had the Sonic Christmas Blast DVD for about 2 years now. I even ripped the Christmas special off the DVD for one of my YouTube videos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6h9Yui6uq64). I have no idea why Amazon says it is unreleased.
Sonicunleashed2008, are you talking about VHS and Beta?
I understand that in the past, these shows have been released, but sometimes a product is taken off the market due to the limited quantity or poor sales. If the company feels that the product will sell better in a particular current market they will re-release the product. This could have very well happened to Sonic Underground: Sonic Christmas Blast.
As for Sonic Underground: Dr. Robotnik’s Revenge/Sonic Underground: The Queen Aleena Chronicles, it might be the first time the two arches have been combined for a box set.
Then again, it could all be another way to make a quick buck by repackaging the same product.
